This page explains which categories we use, what they do and how you can change your choice at any time.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device during your visit. Cookies can be placed by us (first-party) or by third parties we engage, such as Google. Alongside cookies we use similar technologies such as localStorage and tracking pixels; where we say “cookie” in this policy we mean all of these.
Our categories
1. Strictly necessary
Without these cookies the shop doesn't work — session, cart, login, anti-CSRF form keys and per-session language preference. We always place these. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)) and the consent exemption in ePrivacy art. 5(3).
2. Functional
Remembering your preferences across sessions such as language, recently viewed products, compare lists, and — if you use Google Sign-In — the authentication state. These cookies are only placed with your consent.
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to get anonymised insight into how visitors use the shop (visit patterns, popular products, conversion funnels). IP addresses are truncated by Google; no analytics cookie is placed before you consent. GA4 retention is 14 months.
4. Marketing & tracking
Via Meta Pixel and similar platforms we may show you ads related to products you've viewed. We place these cookies only with your consent and do not share personal data with third parties for any purpose other than retargeting our own offerings.

Retention
We store your consent record for 13 months, after which we will ask you again. Individual cookies have their own lifetimes, typically between 1 day and 24 months. Our consent log stores an anonymised (hashed) version of your IP and browser to prove consent was given, also for a maximum of 13 months.
Change or revoke your choice
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time. Your browser will then drop all non-essential cookies and the banner will re-appear so you can make a new choice.
